GoCardless acquires open banking platform Nordigen

Nordigen was acquired byGoCardless, the global leader in direct bank payments. The London-based unicorn willi ncorporate Nordigen’s next-generation open banking connectivity to all major European banks, offering the largest coverage in Europe, connecting to more than 2 300 banks in 31 countries. Having successfully closed a $312 million Series G in early February 2022 and with the acquisition of Nordigen, GoCardless is well on its way to maintain its leadership rank in the open banking arena.
